In June, Holst Centre will be participating in a number of public events. It's an ideal opportunity to get more insight in how our technologies will possibly affect your life in the coming decade.

June 1: High Tech Discovery Route (part of Dutch Technology Week)
Together with a number of other companies at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, Holst Centre opens its doors from 11-17h with guided tours for small groups of visitors. You will get a broad overview of our activities: a glimpse into the future. For children, Discovery Center Continium organizes a workshop with solar-powered robotic bugs in our building.

May 31 - June 7: STRP Meets DTW (part of Dutch Technology Week)
Holst Centre's emotion monitor will be part of this daily interactive exhibition with all kinds of technological and artistic installations. Take a look inside your own brain and see if we were able to correctly detect your emotions.

June 4: TEDxBrainport
During the breaks of the infamous TEDx-event, the audience can experience our emotion demonstrator.

June 6: Night of the Nerds
This event for youngsters 'between 15 and 25' will also exhibit our emotion monitoring demonstrator. Another chance to have your mind read.

June 15-16: SummerLabb at Indian Summer Festival
Oriented towards sustainability in its broadest sense, SummerLabb creates enthusiasm around emerging technologies. Visitors to this two-day music festival will have the chance to enter the floating SummerLabb pavilion and explore the limits of technology. Also here, Holst Centre will be present with its emotion monitoring setup.

June 22-30: Week van het ontwerpen
During this annual event organized by Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen (Howest) in Kortrijk (Belgium), a number of demonstrators created in collaboration with Howest students and teachers will be on display.
